Sometimes it just takes one "extra mile" to make something wonderful. My cousin Joyce and soulmate Bob hauled up their karaoke equipment for the entertainment for Thanksgiving. Never mind the 6 pies she brought! Joyce even brought cute little prizes for the brave singers. Everyone sang, from my 92-year-old mother to Janet's twin grandsons. It was great! The only wrinkle was that Kimber, Thad, Jenna and Lydia didn't come due to 2 1/2 of them being sickies. But Thad, we want you to know that we took good care of your pecan pie! Yummo!
