It is gorgeous out! The snow has really stopped and the sun is out, and the sky is an amazing blue. I have been home for 4 days. I just informed Jerry, out again with the Subaru, that we are heading downtown before all freezes again. Another storm is coming in tomorrow afternoon and will dump another 3-4 inches of snow. So I image that church will be out of the question as the storm is to rage through Sunday. Then next week should give us a normal NW weather pattern. We will still have a white Christmas because it is so much colder here than downtown. I don't mind that at all as the roads are pretty by them. The road crews can keep up with the scrapping and de-icing.
Well, back to my original topic: the Snow Maniac. Yesterday Jerry drives the Subaru home (I swear I should be hired by Subaru for endorsements!) with no problems. Actually, he came up twice, just because he could. :-) He suits up again with gloves, two coats, cap and a shovel to go dig out the pickup. When he arrives the policeman, who lives in the house by the ditched pickup, has everything but the front end dug out already!
Jerry was so happy he was almost crying when he returned home. The man gave the pickup a sideways shove as Jerry started it, and Jerry drove straight home. We are going to buy the man some goodies as a little "thanks buddy!" gift.
