Patti and I were on our own on Thursday, entering early at 7 AM! I think we went on 8-9 rides in the first hour. It was surprising how many families really came that early. I thought we would be the only ones there. Want to see a funny, live show? Be sure to see Billy Hill & the Hillbillies. Talented, funny, and too short of a show. After Patti and I attacked DLand, I returned to the room to prepare for Jess and my trip to LA to see WICKED. All seemed well until the I405 wreck that delayed her picking me up for 1.45 hours! Jess wove through exits and back streets to retrieve me via I5. Luckily the worse we encountered going to LA was very slow traffic. We arrived at eat on Sunset (very nice) only 20 minutes late. We walked to the Pantages Theatre http://www.losangelestheatres.googlepages.com/pantages_hollywood and entered an amazing art deco eye feast. I have never been in such an amazing theatre! We loved the musical and two of the songs are on the playlist. Oh, it only took 40 minutes to drive back to the Disneyland Hotel!
