It was a great mission:
Go to the annual ALA conference and spend a little time at DL and CA. We arrived two days early to attend the parks and to "run" into LA to see Wicked. Jess picked us up at SNA and spent the first day at DL and CA with us. As you can see from the photo I was enlisted to defend DL from Zurg, and for a cadet I managed to foil the enemy left and right. Of course, I had a great sergeant who trained me well. More posts will come with highlights and unforgettable personalities we met.
Oh, we did attend the conference.
