Janene and I need to watch what each other are doing! Not only did we begin blogs within a day of each other, but we had accidents the same week! And we both have sinus infections! But IS Janene going to the beach tomorrow with her cousin Benita????? One would doubt.
On Monday I took my mother, Grandma Ruth (Jenna & Lydia's name for her), to Portland for an ultrasound and a biopsy. She wanted to stop for lunch on the way home, sorta a tradition when we go places. As I was backing out and almost ready to shift to drive, there was a huge bang and hit to my car. (Hate to hear and feel that at 70 mph!) I looked back to see a silver HONDA, a lower life form, inching back into a space across the parking lot. I looked for damage and saw none, and walked over to her. None on her car either. We congratulated each other on buying cars with great bumpers, and went on our way. But I still wish she had seen me before she backed up!
Grandma Ruth got her results today and we are sad to say that the biopsy was positive. July 25th is a consultation with the surgeon to determine the best treatment for her. But none of you heard it from me! :-) She is doing great with the news. Janet and I and Mother all feel that it will be okay. She is certainly looking forward to going to Round Rock for Ben's baptism and Ava's blessing!
