Just before I left for the conference, I emailed Jay asking if he would be there. He was coming, signing books for Razorbill and wanted me to contact him so that we could sit and visit. Jay is the author of Th1rteen Re3asons Why and is coming to my school next April to visit the students, talk to the community and interview with a local radio station and newspaper. The book is amazing and a compelling read. Patti and I visited with him for an hour. I forgot to take a photo of him. I found him the next day and took this shot.
